On the Crib Shortlist: Sebra Kili

It comes at a price, but in my opinion, the Sebra Kili is the loveliest little crib out there. It’s Danish. It’s timeless. It’s nice and small to fit a smaller nursery, but it still converts into a junior bed that should last a little one right up until 6-7 years of age.

Since the nursery we are planning now is not a huge room, I would prefer a crib that is a little smaller. Especially since it will stand in our bedroom for the first six weeks or so at least. The Sebra Kili is definitely not huge, so it would fit really nicely in the nursery.

This crib comes in a ton of lovely colors (I really like the powdery light blue and the lemon yellow), but I think we will go with a white crib so that is matches Alec’s crib in case they end up sharing a room down the road.

So what don’t I like about it? The price (ca USD 1200/SEK 8250 for bed and mattress)! I also do prefer a crib that is more open than this one, so that the baby can see out more easily. And it really is best as a crib – as a toddler/junior bed it is not as nice.
